Merced Police Investigates Crash on G Street and East 21st Street 

Merced, CA (February 11, 2022) – Friday night, a pedestrian sustained severe injuries in a crash on G Street and East 21st Street.

The crash in Merced happened at around 10:29 p.m. on February 11.

The Merced Police Department said the pedestrian sustained major injuries and was transported to an area trauma center. 

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and is cooperative with investigators. 

Police said alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a contributing factor at this time.
