FRESNO, CA (June 29, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a pedestrian sustained injuries following a police pursuit crash on F and San Benito Street.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident happened near Fresno and Broadway Street.

Reports revealed that authorities pursued a vehicle that was reported missing on Monday. The suspect vehicle lost control after making a turn too fast and struck a fence near F and San Benito street. The vehicle struck two pedestrians during the incident.

Moreover, responders transported one pedestrian to a local hospital with unknown injuries. The second pedestrian sustained no injuries in the crash.

Furthermore, two men fled the scene on foot after the collision. Officers managed to locate and arrest the two suspects moments later.

Meanwhile, the incident is under investigation.
