LOS ANGELES, CA — A pedestrian suffered critical injuries in a collision at Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Sherman Way Wednesday morning.
 
The Los Angeles police said the incident occurred at about 3:30 a.m. After that, when officers arrived at the scene, they found the pedestrian lying on the road.
 
The patient was reportedly not breathing when the paramedics arrived at the scene. As a result, they transported the pedestrian to a hospital in critical condition.
 
The cause and circumstances leading to the crash are under investigation.
