1 Hurt in Vancouver Pedestrian Collision
VANCOUVER, WA (March 13, 2020) – A 49-year-old pedestrian sustained injuries in a collision on Andresen Road on March 12.
The Vancouver police are currently handling the investigation for the pedestrian and vehicle collision.
It was about 5:20 a.m. when the emergency responders arrived to the collision near northeast Andresen Road and northeast Vancouver Mall Drive.
According to police, the 49-year-old pedestrian from Vancouver was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the 28-year-old driver sustained minor injuries. The police already ruled out intoxication as a factor in the collision.
Moreover, the authorities shut down Andresen Road between northeast Vancouver Mall Drive and northeast 58th Street for multiple hours as emergency crews worked at the scene. The road has since reopened.
