Pedestrian Injured in Accident at the Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center [Victorville, CA]

Victorville, CA (December 22, 2022) – On Wednesday night, a pedestrian sustained injuries following an accident at The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center.

The traffic accident took place at about 5:44 p.m. in the westbound lanes of 7th Street near Plaza Drive, wherein the pedestrian was hit by a Jeep Patriot.

The Victorville Fire Department and San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Victorville Police Department immediately responded to the incident and located the person lying on the ground. They rushed the victim to Victor Valley Global Medical Center in critical condition.

The paramedics then airlifted the injured pedestrian to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Meanwhile, the woman driving the black 2015 Jeep Patriot stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Reports said the vehicle sustained a broken side-view mirror on the driver’s side door that was hanging.

Officers are still investigating the 7th Street traffic accident.
