Male Pedestrian Hurt in Traffic Accident on Bullard Avenue [Fresno, CA]

Fresno, CA (August 27, 2023) On Saturday evening, a male pedestrian in his 70s was hospitalized after a traffic accident on Bullard Avenue.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the auto-pedestrian collision happened at about 5:30 p.m. at the intersection with 1st Street.

Reports say that a teenage driver, driving a westbound vehicle, was attempting a northbound turn onto 1st Street and struck the pedestrian.

Medics immediately transported the unhoused man to the hospital. Meanwhile, the teenage driver stayed at the scene and was in possession of a permit and not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
