WSP INVESTIGATES PEDESTRIAN-VEHICLE COLLISIOB ON I-5
Seattle, WA (March 14, 2023) On Sunday evening, a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 5 sent a 32-year-old man to the hospital.
WSP says that the pedestrian-vehicle collision happened around 8:15 p.m. on southbound I-5 near the collector-distributor lanes for Interstate 90.
Reports say that the 2 cars struck the pedestrian who was attempting to cross traffic to the left shoulder.
Authorities say that the first vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid, meanwhile the driver of the 2nd vehicle stayed at the scene.
Paramedics transported the male victim to Harborview Medical Center. His condition is not known.
Troopers are investigating the hit-and-run crash and have not released additional information at this time.
