12-Year-Old Albert Einstein Middle School Student Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident
Rosemont, CA (September 27, 2024) On Thursday morning, a 12-year-old student was hurt and hospitalized after a horrific hit-and-run crash on Mirandy Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the auto-pedestrian crash happened on Mirandy Drive in a crosswalk in front of Albert Einstein Middle School.
Reports say that a car, heading eastbound on Mirandy Drive, hit the student and continued without stopping.
Officials say that the student suffered moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The CHP is actively searching for a silver 2001-2006 Hyundai Santa Fe in connection with the incident.
