Man Hospitalized after Pedestrian Crash on Magic Mountain Parkway
SANTA CLARITA, CA (April 14, 2019) – A man was hospitalized early Sunday evening after he was hit by a vehicle in the parking lot driveway of Toppers Pizza. Authorities did not disclose the identity of the victim.
According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, the incident happened on Magic Mountain Parkway, at about 5:41 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle struck an adult male near the intersection of Valencia Boulevard and McBean Parkway.
Emergency responders transported the victim to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Further updates on his current condition were not provided. Meanwhile, it is unknown whether or not the vehicle remained at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the events that led to the collision. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
