Deadly Pedestrian Crash on Grand Avenue in Lake Elsinore

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (December 16, 2019) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by two vehicles Monday morning in Lake Elsinore, authorities said.
 
The fatal incident happened just after 6:00 a.m. at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Broadway Street.
 
The pedestrian wearing all dark clothing was walking in the intersection when two vehicles traveling south on Grand Avenue struck them.
 
Deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station arrived at the crash site and pronounced the unidentified victim dead at the scene.
 
Officials closed Grand Avenue in both directions for about five hours while they investigated the incident.
 
It is unknown if intoxication was a factor in the crash. Any witnesses of this fatal crash is urged to contact the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Department at (951) 245-3300.
