Man Killed in Pacheco Pedestrian-Car Crash

PACHECO, CA (February 10, 2019) – A man was killed on Wednesday morning after he was hit by a vehicle in the Pacheco area of unincorporated Contra Costa County. The fatal crash was reported at 7:53 a.m. in the vicinity of Aspen Drive and Brown Drive according to the sheriff’s deputies.

Investigators believe that the victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was struck when he walked into the roadway directly in the path of a southbound Nissan Cube. The victim was found unresponsive by the emergency crew and was later pronounced dead at the scene a few minutes before 8:05 a.m.
