One Killed in Merced Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash
MERCED, CA (November 19) – A pedestrian sustained fatal injuries following a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Thursday, November 15.
According to the police, the crash occurred when the pedestrian sitting in the roadway was struck and killed at about 11:30 p.m. near Yosemite Avenue and G Street. The vehicle involved is believed to be a white Toyota Sienna van made between 2011 and 2018.
Police also stated that the driver was believed to be a man. The van possibly sustained front-end damage, including a broken fog light on the passenger side.
Merced police are asking any person with any information about the collision to call the Merced Police Department Traffic Division.
