Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Vehicle on Seventh Street and Desert Knoll Drive (Victorville, CA)

Vehicle Struck and Killed Pedestrian in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 27, 2019) — A vehicle fatally struck a pedestrian on Seventh Street and Desert Knoll Drive Saturday night.
 
The deputies said a gray passenger vehicle hit the pedestrian walking at around 10:40 p.m. The vehicle was southbound on Seventh Street when the accident occurred.
 
Emergency responders transported the victim to Victor Valley Global Medical Center. However, the pedestrian died at the hospital later.
 
Officials have not released the name of the victim pending positive identification and notification of the family.
 
On the other hand, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. They contacted emergency personnel after the collision.
 
The authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. They urge anyone with information about the collision to call Deputy C. DeKeyrel at the Victorville Police Station at 760-241-2911.
