SR 162 Deadly DUI Collision
Orting, WA (February 17, 2022) – On Wednesday, a pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in a State Route 162 hit-and-run collision.
Officers responded to the crash scene at around 8:30 p.m. near Orville Road East.
When they arrived at the scene, officers declared the victim dead. The involved driver, on the other hand, immediately fled.
Hours later, police found and arrested the driver at a home in Bonney Lake for DUI.
