Pedestrian Dies in Road Accident on Santa Ana Freeway [Anaheim, CA]

Anaheim, CA (April 26, 2022) On Monday, a road accident on the Santa Ana Freeway killed a pedestrian.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fatal collision happened at 12:52 a.m. at Euclid Street.

Officials say that a white Toyota Prius struck the pedestrian possibly from the no. 1 lane.

Rescuers found the pedestrian in the no. 2 lane of the highway. The CHP found white vehicle debris on the scene.

Moreover, the driver of the Toyota reported that he struck something on the freeway and his right side mirror was missing.

Furthermore, the CHP shut down all southbound lanes with a SigAlert at around 1:30 a.m. Lanes were reopened at 4:20 a.m.
