Stockton Hit-and-Run at Harding Way Kills Pedestrian
STOCKTON, CA (October 01, 2019) — A pedestrian died Wednesday in a hit-and-run at Harding Way and Commerce Street in Stockton.
The authorities said surveillance footage showed that the suspect vehicle looked like a white Ford Mustang. The driver reportedly drove through the intersection without slowing down and struck the victim.
The Stockton police said the pedestrian was in a crosswalk when hit by the vehicle. The medics took the victim to a hospital where he later died.
On the other hand, the driver fled the scene after the collision.
The authorities are now searching for the hit-and-run driver. He is believed to be an adult male in his twenties, either Hispanic or black.
The investigation is ongoing.
