Fatal Penarth Avenue Hit-and-Run Crash
Diamond Bar, CA (July 09, 2021) – On Sunday, a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Penarth Avenue.
The accident took place at about 10:30 p.m. at the Penarth Avenue intersection.
Officers said the pedestrian was northbound on Penarth Avenue crossing Lycoming Street when a westbound vehicle struck him. The suspect vehicle immediately fled the scene driving south on Lemon Avenue.
Rescuers took the victim to a hospital with major injuries and died days later.
