Person Fatally Struck on Interstate 80
East Bay, CA (November 18, 2021) – On Wednesday, a person suffered fatal injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 80.
Officers received the crash report at about 6:20 p.m. near Ashby Avenue and Seventh Street.
Apparently, a body was seen in the roadway close to an eastbound on-ramp.
The rescuers immediately responded, but the person was already dead at the scene.
The CHP is investigating this hit-and-run crash on Interstate 80.
