Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash on 5th Street and I Street; Jordan Ware Detained

 
Sacramento, CA (August 24,2020) – A vehicle fatally struck a pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash on 5th Street and I Street on Thursday afternoon. Police later arrested Jordan Ware, 22, in connection to the crime.
 
The tragic crash happened on August 13 in the area of 5th Street and I Street.
 
Mr. Ware struck the victim, an adult male pedestrian, and immediately fled the scene before the authorities arrived.
 
The victim sustained major injuries due to the impact of the crash. Emergency personnel took him to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead. However, his identity has not been released.
 
As of the moment, the name of the victim remains unreleased.
 
Furthermore, the investigators say Ware is dealing now with charges of vehicular manslaughter and felony hit-and-run.
 
Consequently, the authorities booked him into Sacramento County Main Jail.
