Officials say that the fatal crash happened at around 1:22 a.m. in Jurupa Valley’s Glen Avon neighborhood.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department (RCSD) has not released the victim’s name pending the coroner’s office reaching out to the victim’s family.
Additionally, officials found the victim’s body in the roadway.
Moreover, authorities believe a vehicle struck the person and the vehicle responsible fled the scene.
Deputies are investigating the collision and have not released further details about the crash.
