Female Killed in Pedestrian Versus Log Truck Crash on Interstate 5
Lacey, WA (March 20, 2021) – On Thursday, a female pedestrian died in a tragic Interstate 5 crash.
The fatal crash took place at about 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
A 43-year-old Arlington truck driver was driving north on Interstate 5, west of Sleater-Kinney Road.
Just then, the woman victim entered the highway from the left shoulder and ran in front of the truck.
Unfortunately, the male truck driver was unable to stop and struck the woman.
Unfortunately, the woman died on Thursday at Providence St. Peter Hospital.
Meanwhile, the authorities withheld the identity of the deceased pending notification of next of kin. Also, they are still investigating the incident.
