1 Dead in Corona Pedestrian Crash on Rimpau Avenue near Magnolia Avenue
CORONA, CA (March 3, 2021) – Monday night, a pedestrian died in an accident on Rimpau Avenue near Magnolia Avenue.
The officers and paramedics came to the scene at around 8:25 p.m. It happened in the 1800 block of Rimpau Avenue, between Magnolia Avenue and Ontario Avenue.
Upon their arrival, they located the victim down and unresponsive, said the Corona Police Department.
Thus, responders took the victim to a hospital where he was declared dead.
Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation.
At this time, it’s unclear whether alcohol, drugs, or medication played a role in the crash.
Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed additional details of the victim.
