Sacramento Traffic Crash Results in Fatality
Sacramento, CA (December 19, 2024) – A male pedestrian was killed in a pedestrian accident on Highway 160 Tuesday night.
The fatal traffic crash happened at approximately 9:40 p.m. north of Scribner Road.
Investigators said a 33-year-old man was driving a GMC SUV noticed a black object in the southbound lane and felt his passenger mirror had struck it.
He got out of his vehicle and saw an unconscious man lying on the road.
Immediately, the driver, along with a passerby, started CPR and reported to 911.
The pedestrian was transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
CHP said the victim did not have any identification on him.
