Pedestrian Dies in Accident on Chase Avenue [El Cajon, CA]

El Cajon, CA (June 29, 2024) – A pedestrian was killed following an accident on Chase Avenue late Thursday night.

The pedestrian crash happened before 11 p.m. near Sunshine Avenue.

Troopers said a man was struck by a white Toyota Tacoma and died at the crash scene.

The driver, on the other hand, remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers’ investigation.

Officers do not suspect alcohol or drugs as a factor in the deadly crash.
