Pedestrian Dies in Accident on California Avenue Southwest [Seattle, WA]

Seattle, WA (May 7, 2022) – On Friday night, a person sustained fatal injuries in an accident on California Avenue Southwest.

The collision took place at 10 p.m. at the 5400 Block area.

According to the witnesses, a car dropped off three people on the west side of the road.

However, a driver from the north struck one of the pedestrians as they were crossing.

Investigators say the driver initially drove off but returned and cooperated with them. 

Moreover, the authorities say the driver was not impaired when the incident took place. The authorities did not provide details if they will charge the driver with hit-and-run.
