LOS ANGELES, CA (June 15, 2021) – Sunday evening, a pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash on Hazeltine Avenue and Gault Street.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash happened at around 9:00 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Hazeltine Avenue, just south of Gault Street in Van Nuys.
 
Reports revealed that a northbound silver sedan struck the pedestrian while crossing Hazeltine Avenue. Then, the suspect vehicle fled the scene after the crash without stopping.
 
Furthermore, paramedics transported the male pedestrian in his 30s to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
 
Moreover, authorities described the suspect vehicle as a silver sedan with major damage to the front end and windshield area.
 
Meanwhile, officials offered a reward of up to $50,000 for anyone with information that will lead to the arrest of the suspect.
