1 Killed in Los Banos Pedestrian Accident on State Route 33 and Interstate 5
LOS BANOS, CA (November 3, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash on State Route 33 and Interstate 5.
The incident happened at around 1:00 p.m. on State Route 33 at the northbound Interstate 5 off-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a northbound big rig struck a pedestrian who fell onto the roadway from the sidewalk. Then, the back tire struck the pedestrian, CHP added. Also, authorities said that it is still unknown if the big rig driver was aware of the accident.
Moreover, officials confirmed that the pedestrian succumbed to injuries and died at the scene.
