SAN JOSE, CA (October 9, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, a pedestrian died in an accident on Interstate 280 near Highway 101.
 
The fatal incident happened at around 1:00 a.m. on southbound Interstate 280 near Highway 101 connector.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons.
 
Reports revealed that the victim succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead.
 
Moreover, CHP closed lanes of the interstate to give way to the responders. All lanes have long since reopened.
