Man Hospitalized After Crash on Roosevelt Avenue in San Antonio

San Antonio, TX (November 8, 2024) – On Friday evening, a man sustained critical injuries in a crash on Roosevelt Avenue.

A vehicle struck a man in a possible road rage incident on the South Side, leaving him in a life-threatening condition and prompting police to rush him to the hospital.

The incident occurred around 7:53 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and Southeast Military Drive. 

San Antonio police reported that the man and a woman were crossing the intersection northbound when the vehicle hit him.

Officers on the scene are also investigating a related call potentially involving the suspect vehicle, identified as a Chevy truck, which fled the area.

The 33-year-old victim remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Crime scene investigators and detectives are actively working on the case.
