2 People Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 210 in Kansas City

Kansas City, MO (October 23, 2024) – A pedestrian remains in critical condition after a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 210 at North Eldon Avenue. 

The crash occurred when a white Kia Forte, which had stopped for unknown reasons, suddenly turned left into the path of a Peterbilt semi-truck. 

The impact pushed the Peterbilt into the westbound lanes, where it collided with a Freightliner semi-truck, causing the trailer to hit the pedestrian.

Both the pedestrian and the Kia driver were taken to the hospital, while the drivers of the semi-trucks were uninjured. 

Authorities are continuing their investigation and suspect possible impairment by the Kia driver.
