1 Person Hospitalized in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on West Point Loma Boulevard and Chapmen Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 12, 2023) – Tuesday night, a disastrous pedestrian crash on West Point Loma Boulevard and Chapmen Street injured one person.
The incident happened at around 10:00 p.m. on West Point Loma Boulevard at Chapmen Street.
According to the San Diego Police Department, an eastbound 2001 Buick Century struck a female pedestrian who stepped in front of the vehicle for still unknown reasons.
Moreover, responders transported the 60-year-old pedestrian to a local hospital with a fractured left ankle, facial fractures, and internal bleeding.
Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
