Temecula, CA (November 10, 2023) On Thursday, a Hispanic man in his 60’s lost his life in a tragic pedestrian crash on Rainbow Canyon Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal hit-and-run crash happened before noon on Rainbow Canyon Road just north of Rainbow Valley Boulevard.

Reports say that a vehicle struck the man walking on the shoulder of the narrow two-lane corridor. Officials say that the vehicle may have been a raised pickup truck, SUV or van.
