Tragic Pedestrian Crash on Oceanside Boulevard Claims a Life [Oceanside, CA]

Oceanside, CA (April 15, 2024) On Sunday evening, a person was pronounced dead while 2 others were hurt in a horrific pedestrian crash on Oceanside Boulevard.

According to the Oceanside Police Department, the fatal crash happened at about 7:34 p.m. in the 4100 block of Oceanside Boulevard near College Boulevard.

Reports say that an eastbound gray Toyota Corolla struck 3 pedestrians crossing near the intersection of College Boulevard.

Medics rushed all 3 pedestrians to the hospital, however, one person succumbed to their injury and was pronounced dead a short time after arrival at Tri-City Medical Center.

Meanwhile, the 2 other pedestrians were taken to Palomar Medical Center and are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the Oceanside Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the fatal accident.
