Santa Monica, CA (January 15, 2024) On Saturday morning, a homeless woman pushing a cart died after getting hit by a vehicle in a pedestrian crash on Lincoln Boulevard.
According to the Santa Monica Police Department (SMPD), the deadly auto-pedestrian crash happened at about 1:50 a.m. on the 2900 block of Lincoln Boulevard.
Reports say that a southbound vehicle struck a woman in her 50s. Officials declared the homeless woman dead at the scene.
Officials say that the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Officials say that the driver did not show signs of impairment.
