Auto-Pedestrian Crash on Turk Street Under Investigation
San Francisco, CA (April 12, 2024) On Thursday evening, a woman in a wheelchair was injured after a horrific pedestrian crash on Leavenworth Street.
According to the San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD), the auto-pedestrian crash happened at about 7 p.m. in the area of Leavenworth and Turk Streets in the Tenderloin.
Reports say that a car struck a woman who uses a wheelchair. Medics transported the female patient to the hospital, officials say that the extent of her injuries is unknown.
The San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) is investigating the auto-pedestrian crash.
