Kent, WA (August 17, 2024) On Thursday evening, a 20-year-old woman died after a tragic pedestrian crash on Kent Kangley Avenue Southeast.

According to Kent police, the deadly auto-pedestrian collision happened at about 10:40 p.m. on the 11100 block of Kent Kangley Avenue Southeast.

Reports say that a vehicle, driven by a 23-year-old woman struck a female pedestrian.

First responders arrived at the scene and found the woman with significant injuries, rescuers attempted to save the woman’s life, unfortunately, she succumbed too her injuries and was declared dead at the scene.

Authorities say that the female driver stayed at the scene.

Officials are investigating the fatal auto-pedestrian crash.
