1 Person Hospitalized on Houston Pedestrian Accident on Interstate Highway 610 South Loop near Timberside Drive
HOUSTON, TX (July 4, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a startling pedestrian crash on Interstate Highway 610 South Loop injured one person.
The incident happened at around 2:15 p.m. on Interstate Highway 610 South Loop near Timberside Drive near Timberside Drive.
According to HPD Commander Trey Coleman, an AT&T truck struck a Houston police officer who was attempting to wave down the truck for alleged speeding.
Moreover, responders transported the officer to a hospital in stable condition.
Furthermore, authorities confirmed that the truck driver remained at the scene to cooperate with the investigation.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
