Marysville, WA (October 4, 2023) On Wednesday morning, a person was killed after a pedestrian crash on Interstate 5.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the fatal hit-and-run crash happened around 8:20 a.m. on northbound Interstate 5 near State Route 529.

Officials say that the collision blocked the right lanes of the interstate, which have been reopened since.

Authorities are investigating the fatal hit-and-run crash.
