Female Pedestrian Killed in Semi-Truck Crash on Highway 99
Bakersfield, CA (July 15, 2023) On Friday morning, a 52-year-old woman was killed after a pedestrian crash on Highway 99.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), that the semi-truck crash happened around 1:18 a.m. Highway 99, north of Rosedale Highway.
Reports say that a semi-truck struck a woman walking on Highway 99. Officials say that the semi-truck driver failed to see the female pedestrian. Authorities say that the woman was wearing dark clothing at the time of the collision.
CHP is investigating the fatal semi-truck crash and have not released further details at this time.
