Deadly Pedestrian Crash on Highway 91 Claims Woman’s Life [Carson, CA]

Carson, CA (November 10, 2024) On Saturday evening, a woman was pronounced dead after a tragic pedestrian crash on Highway 91.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the deadly crash happened at about 6:39 p.m. at the 91 Freeway in Carson.

Reports say that a woman lost her life Saturday night after being struck while walking across the eastbound lanes of the Gardena Freeway.

CHP says that the incident was first reported at 6:39 p.m., when witnesses observed the woman walking near Main Street without pants.

By 6:50 p.m., additional reports confirmed that a vehicle had hit the woman. Authorities arrived on the scene and pronounced her dead. Her identity has not yet been released.

The collision prompted the closure of three eastbound lanes, which remained blocked until shortly after 10 p.m. as CHP investigated.
