Woman Seriously Hurt in Auto-Pedestrian Collision on First Street
Fresno, CA (June 8, 2024) On Friday evening, a woman in her 40s was hurt and hospitalized after a pedestrian crash on Clinton Avenue.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the auto-pedestrian collision happened at about 9 p.m. in the area of Clinton Avenue and First Street.
Reports say that first responders arrived and found the female pedestrian on the road after a westbound white sedan, driven by a female driver in her 30s, struck her.
The sedan was westbound on Clinton Avenue approaching Orchard Street when it hit the woman attempting to cross the sidewalk.
Officials say that the female driver stopped and called 911. Medics rushed the injured patient to the hospital in critical condition.
Authorities are investigating the pedestrian crash.
