Mission Valley, CA (September 3, 2023) Early Saturday morning, a man pushing a shopping cart was killed after a pedestrian crash on Camino de la Reina.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision happened around 1:50 a.m. near Camino Del Arroyo.
Reports say that the man was crossing the street while pushing a shopping cart, when a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado struck the pedestrian.
Officials say that the man sustained major head injury, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
