Phoenix Police Investigates Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Crash on 19th Avenue

Phoenix, AZ (October 15, 2023) On Saturday evening, a woman died after a horrific pedestrian crash on Cactus Road.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash happened around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection with 19th Avenue and Cactus Road.

Reports say that a northbound vehicle struck a woman halfway across 19th Avenue. Officials say that medics rushed the woman to the hospital, however, she succumbed to her injuries and later died at the hospital.

Officials say that the driver stayed at the scene and did not show signs of impairment.

Authorities are investigating the fatal auto-pedestrian crash and have not released further details at this time.
