GARDEN GROVE, CA (August 29, 2023) – Monday morning, a horrific pedestrian crash on 8700 Garden Grove Boulevard killed 1 person.

The incident happened just before 7:25 a.m. in the 8700 block of Garden Grove Boulevard.

According to reports, a Lexus RX300 struck and injured the woman. Then, responders took her to a hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Her identity remained undisclosed at this time due to pending family notification. Also, the authorities ruled out alcohol or drugs as factors in the crash.

Meanwhile, they urged anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact investigator John Yergler of the Garden Grove Police Department at 714-741-5772.
