FEDERAL WAY, WA (February 20, 2024) – Saturday night, a brutal pedestrian crash on 500 Southwest Dash Point Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened just before 7:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Southwest Dash Point Road in the Buenna neighborhood. Reports said that as a 22-year-old man walked along the road, an unknown vehicle struck him and then fled the scene.

Medical responders attempted to save the victim transporting him to Harborview Medical Center, but he later succumbed to injuries in the hospital.

Federal Way Police investigators are searching for any clues as to who drove the vehicle that caused the crash.
