HARRIS COUNTY, TX (March 18, 2024) – Saturday night, a fatal pedestrian crash on 3400 East Sam Houston Parkway killed one person.

The incident happened at around 7:00 p.m. in the 3400 block of East Sam Houston Parkway.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a northbound blue Honda Ridgeline struck a male pedestrian who was crossing the feeder road.

Moreover, responders pronounced the pedestrian, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, authorities said that the pedestrian failed to yield the right of way while crossing the road.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the HSCO’s Vehicular Crimes Division continued to investigate the crash.
