1 Person Dead in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on 2500 West Mount Houston Road

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (January 15, 2025) – Saturday night, a tragic pedestrian crash on 2500 West Mount Houston Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 9:50 p.m. in the 2500 block of West Mount Houston Road.

According to reports, a truck struck a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway outside a marked crosswalk. Then, the force of the crash knocked the pedestrian about 150 feet from the crash.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the pedestrian died from the collision.

Furthermore, officials said that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
