CHP Investigates Auto-Pedestrian Accident near Highway 49
Oakhurst, CA (November 25, 2023) On Friday morning, a woman was hurt and hospitalized after a pedestrian crash near Highway 41.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the auto-pedestrian accident happened around 8:30 a.m. near Highway 41 and Highway 49.
Officials say that a truck turning onto southbound Highway 41 struck a female pedestrian in the crosswalk.
Reports say that the woman sustained major injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
Authorities say that the driver of the truck remained at the scene and was not showing signs of impairment.
CHP is investigating the auto-pedestrian accident.
