Spokane, WA (June 12, 2024) On Tuesday afternoon, a woman died after a horrific pedestrian collision on Browne Street.

According to the Spokane Police Department, the hit-and-run crash happened at about 12:50 p.m. on Browne Street and Main Avenue.

Reports say that an unidentified vehicle struck a woman and fled the scene without stopping to render aid to the fallen victim.

First responders arrived at the scene and found an injured woman on the road, medics rushed the woman to a hospital, where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
