Avoid pedestrian accidents by driving only when alert and sober. Yield the right-of-way to pedestrians in crosswalks, and obey all traffic signals and signs. In addition, accommodate any impediments to safe driving, including the low visibility of night driving, the poor conditions caused by inclement weather, and the obstacles of road construction or poorly maintained roads.
